We've had a couple meetups on here for object manipulation, but they've rarely met. I'm going to use this group to post spin jams that get posted to DC Fireflies among others. Hopefully this group will help those folks looking to learn to spin and give all of us a chance to get together and trade tricks and techniques more often. If you'd like to pick up poi or just meet some other spinners, give us a whirl. I should be posting both spin jams and fire jams on here.

Activities such as hula hooping (the act of doing hula hoop) will strengthen your bones and tone your muscles. This one hour workout uses over 30 core muscles. Hooping is way more fun than the hula hooping you might remember as a child. Our bigger, 1 to 1.5lbs hoops are easier to use. They are wrapped in colorful 'friction' tape used help keep them on your body. Even if you start out believing you can't hoop, with one of these hoops, you can! Nearly everyone can hoop, regardless of age, size or …

A group for the young at heart to participate in the playground games of our youth in the public spaces of Baltimore. Currently serving Fells Point with a monthly meetup in the main square at Broadway & Lancaster on the 2nd Friday of every month from 9-10pm. After a fair share of four square, double dutch, freeze tag, or hula hooping, the fun then moves on to one of the local bars nearby. Additional meetups will occur in other neighborhoods and at some of the many festivals in Baltimore.

Picture it - I’m driving down the street and almost have a four car accident because I saw three girls outside jumping Double Dutch. I didn’t know if I was amazed that there were girls actually outside playing or if I was excited to see them jumping Double Dutch. Have you ever passed a game of Double Dutch and wanted to ask for a jump? Did you jump when you were younger and would like to do it again? Do you want to have fun while exercising and not think of it as a workout? Need to lose that tum …
